[Video Splash] CubePi
-
Another day, another new RetroPie video splash! This time, it's based off of the PS2's user interface, with a splash of PSP thrown in. I don't really have a good name for it, so I'm just calling it CubePi for now.

And here's a version without the instructions overlay. -
Amazing splash screen! What program did you use for this?
-
@itsnitro Sony Vegas 13, with a tad bit of Blender to render the 3D cubes.
-
Ooh, cool! I've tried to use blender before but it's confusing for me.
-
@itsnitro Frankly, it was confusing even for this simple render.
Not even joking, it took like 3 hours just to render the cube properly. (but considering this was my first time using Blender, it's kinda impressive I even figured it out that quickly) -
Hey, do you have the RetroPie theme that has these PS2 sound effects on them?
-
@allanbuzzy Unfortunately, no; the sound effects were manually edited in post since ES doesn't support custom sounds when scrolling on systems. :(
