So I have a Pi 3 running the latest Retropie (3.7) and I am using a Dualshock 4 controller wired via USB to the Pi. I have had no issue getting the controller to work with any system until I tried the Atari 5200. I can't seem to get the controller to work for the system, and I am very new to Linux / Retropie / Emulation in general so I really have no idea where to begin troubleshooting the issue.

I am using the default 5200 emulator and I have tried a couple different games to make sure it wasn't just a one game issue.

I read over the 5200 page on the wiki, but I didn't see anything that would help me (maybe there was, but I don't understand?)

Anyways, any ideas on what to try would be greatly appreciated. I've searched Google as well and didn't pull up anything that would help me either, but I'm probably just overlooking something simple.

Work is currently underway to improve gamepad support for the Atari 800 & 5200. You can find out more here...
