      Hey all,

I set up a RetroPie system on a Pi 3 for a friend. For some reason, however, it runs perfectly fine with his first PS4 controller. When he configures and uses 2 different controllers (all plugged in one at a time) they only work in emulationstation and not in game. We've tried:

      1. Deleting all configurations multiple times to see if that works. Nothing.
      2. We've also tried changing from udev to sdl.
      3. I've tried manually generating the RetroArch config file as well.

      I'm at a total loss.
Again, the controller he initially configured is the only one that works, no matter how many times we reconfigure all the controllers. Weve had them all pugged in at the same time, at separate times, etc. But the original controller is still the only one that works (in both ES and game).

      EDIT:
It appears that emulationstation is generating all the controls properly in the es config file. However it does not generate the file (other than the original PS4 controller) in the RetroArch joypad config file. And when I try to generate the files manually , I get an error that says it cannot move the temporary input file to destination (permission denied). So I run as sudo (I get no feedback this time) and nothing is generated. Still unsure of what is going on.

      Still looking into it..

      Any ideas?
