      Trying installing selph scraper but it refuses everytime with this error :

      package github.com/sselph/scraper
      imports context : unrecognized import path "context"

      It looks like the $go installer is complaining that whatever "contect" isd, it can't find it so the install is failing everytime

      If I try to run the scraper on all ROMs from the scraper menu in RetroPie config it just says that the scraper is not found. SSH into the folder shows that the scraper folder is not in the optretropie/supplementary

      Thanks for any suggestions

        I'm in the exact same boat.

        I've wiped the card clean and reinstalled RetroPie and keep receiving the same message

              Very latest retropie as installed via script and updated retro-config to latest

              Installed Raspbian from minimal install on SD Card

              Installed all basic packages via install menu on retropie config without any issues

              Brand new branded 16GB SD card

              Emulators installed and work fine along with the experimental emulators and scripts, my ROMs and artwork is seen perfectly via the USB transfer service onto my external hard drive so I know retropie is installed correctly, but the scraper refuses to install. I know it does work as previously it used to be on an install a while back. I don't have a copy of that install so can't copy the script from that. I'm going to download the retropie image and see if the scraper is on that image using the linux image reader on my desktop, or try running it via a usb stick to access the files via a VMWare Workstation running linux

              Maybe there is an issue with bandwidth on his site using its monthly quota so no downloads available, it appears there has been this issue in the past with the hash.csv. Too many requests and he's on a restricted 1GB free bandwidth (or was readimg previous issues with the scraper from other forums)

                I updated to 4.2.3 last night and installed it from optional packages.
