Attract Mode - RetroPie Experimental Vs. V0.5 Image

Hi there,
Have used ES for the most part, and am building a cabinet that will use a Pi and want to try out Attract Mode for a more presentable front end. I have seen that there is a version of AM in the new RetroPie build, as well as the V0.5 image that Floob had created and posted elsewhere.
I was curious the difference between the experimental version and the V0.5 image... is there a RIGHT one to get or does it not matter? I am kind of confused on what differentiates the two versions. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
