Displaying human readable game titles for Non-MAME systems.

Hello:
Lets say you have some Atari 2600 roms correctly working on RetroPie. Correctly working meaning that you can start them and play them and exit them.
Is there a way to have Emulation Station detect the rom and like MAME display a human readable game title?
Is there a way to get Emulation Station to "scrape" the box covers and data for them?
Sorry if this is a common question. I just wasn't able to find any documentation that deals with this.
