The challenge with console images will be to get high-quality photos of all consoles at the same angle and controller configuration.

@obsidianspider, @lilbud: screenscraper.fr has lots of good ones, and most are in the same sort of layout. I actually went through the site and grabbed pretty much every image I could for just about every system RetroPie uses (logos, console images, controller images, illustrations, bevels, cartridge images, etc). I doubt I'll use everything, but the console images have already come in handy.

@obsidianspider I already got alot of the console images, but am probably going to do #2. They would be easier to make and could get done quicker.

@lilbud I like number 2 without the console image. You could use the console / system image inside the gamelist.

@lilbud Both? If you can be bothered. It's kinda hard to tell from just one system. But I am definitely preferring the no console image atm.

@AlexMurphy I feel like it is too busy. The logo one would be easier to do, since i have make 60 of them.

@lilbud Hmmm... looking at the Master System console image again, I kind of like it. Maybe the NES image was too big. But it's a personal taste thing. You'll never please everyone.

@itsnitro Looks good, but would be too difficult to do for 60+ systems. I'm trying to follow the K.I.S.S principle for these icons.

Maybe instead of the console you could put a picture of the controller.
