Retropie broke after update. Not detecting controllers or keyboard.
-
I am running retropie on a raspian image using an overclocked RPi 3. After performing an update xserver crashed and my apt-get was stuck so I rebooted. I have the pi set up to boot into emulationstation and now it does not detect either USB PS3 controllers, mouse or keyboard. I can not exit emulationstation or boot up raspian since the pi boots into ES.
I get the message "Welcome. 0 Gamepads detected. Hold a button on your device to configure it. Press F4 to quit at any time."
For some reason I cant ssh into the pi either. Yay
I currently dont have access to another pc so I cant access the sd card. Is there any way I can stop ES from launching during boot as the keyboard works before ES starts?
To put it another way, can I stop ES from starting during the RPi's boot?
Understandably I am not very happy and would love some help. Setting up the emulators was a real pain in the a$$ and I dont want to do it again.
