Freezes at "Loading..." screen
-
Hi,
I am able to install RetroPie success using manual install method on my RPI running minibian. It starts up but never gets past the "Loading..." screen. Is there any way to debug what might be going wrong? I noticed the below errors during the build process, could that be causing the issue?
/opt/retropie/emulators/advmame/0.94.0/bin/advmame: error while loading shared libraries: libbcm_host.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
/opt/retropie/emulators/advmame/1.4/bin/advmame: error while loading shared libraries: libbcm_host.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory -
Have you looked at
/tmp/runcommand.log

minibian is not supported. Looks like you are missing some of the raspberry pi libraries. I don't see much point putting retropie on top of a Raspbian based distro that is even slimmer than Raspbian Lite (which is what our image is based on), since RetroPie itself will use a fair amount of space etc.
