Pi Model or other hardware: Pi3
Power Supply used: Official 5.2V 2.5A power supply (came from Rapid Electronics in Raspberry Pi / Element 14 branded box).
      RetroPie Version Used : 4.2
Built From: Pre made SD Image on RetroPie website and updated using retropie setup script yesterday evening (31st May)
Controller used: Official XBOX 360 Wired Controller

I know recently I've tended to assist when others are having issues, but today I am having an issue when playing N64 games. Specifically noticeable when playing Waverace.

To perform flips, you need to switch from fully up to fully down on the joystick, or vice versa, similarly with barrel rolls. This works correctly on Project64 and Mupen64Plus (v2.5) on my Windows PC using the same controller, however, when I do this in Mupen64plus on the pi, it acts like you have just pressed the joystick in the second direction and doesn't execute the stunt.

I have checked the controller config, max X/Y and the deadzone and they are all set to reasonable settings compared to the joystick test (deadzone of 4000 and max of 32767).

I don't know if there are any other games that this affects.

Hi, see my post here. Exactly the same issue as you. I noticed a similar fault with Yoshi's Story too.

Damned if I know what's causing it, but it's not just you!
