SNES to USB adapter - "down" and "right" on dpad not working

Hi,
I recently bought two SNES to USB adapters. On Windows they work perfectly. Every button is recognized. But on my retropie only the "down" and "right" buttons on the dpas dom't work. I already tried the solution on this thread. But the kernel installation fails .
So does anyone else has similar problems with usb adapters on the retropie?RaspberryPi 3 B
