Dreamcast / Reicast stuck on Insert Disc
-
I have looked through various forum topics and I don't see this one. I am running my RetroPie system on a Pi 3 without overclocking. I can launch Reicast, I can get into the main system manager. I can alter system settings and VMU settings, so I believe my Bios are good. I am having an issue actually getting games to load. I have used previously known working self boot CDI files. I have attempted to create new self boot CDI's utilizing BootMake (my home PC is 64bit Win10) either from a previous bin or iso file, and from creating a new iso file from the physically owned disc. I have downloaded known good self boot images. I have even burned these images to a CDR and placed them in a Dreamcast and they work there. For some odd reason whenever I attempt to run Reicast, it goes into system manager and on Play says "Insert Disc" I have attempted to remove and reinstall reicast from binary and source even on both of those updated from binary and source, but I am having no luck. I have MD5 CheckSum verified my Bios and flash files they are even proper as I can get into system manager. I have also attempted to use USA, Europe and Japan dc_flash.bin with the World dc_boot.bin. I have even attempted to use hacked Bios and Flash files as verified by the MD5 from the ones listed on the RetroPie Dreamcast guide. I am getting no where and really could use some help on this one. Thank you.

Update on this. I was able to get this to work with previous images, and the ones I made off my disc. I had to wipe my SD card and completely re install Retropie 4.2 from scratch. I am not exactly sure, but maybe something did not update properly when I updated from a previous build.
