      Re: RetroArch is now "fully" compatible with RetroAchievements!

      Hello Dear dudes! Could you please tell me. When I start some game for example NES Adventure island 1, it shows me empty achievements list. And even don't show me on my retroavhiement page that I launched the game. For another Roms it works good. Why you can't add the available game list same as in standard retro achievement emulator for Windows, where I can choose the game and achevs will be loaded?

        @TuffCutter

        Games are identified with a hash check. It could be that the ROM you're using doesn't match against their database for some reason.

            I'm afraid you've been blown way off course. RetroPie doesn't run on Android.

            Edit: Of course, games are identified the same way across platforms. You might try obtaining the game from a different location.

              @TuffCutter you should provide at least a log. Launch RetroArch with --verbose, or enable verbose mode in runcommand menu, and paste the log somewhere (e.g. ghostbin.com).

              If you are not able o provide this info, there's no way to help you.

              When you post a RetroAchievements issue here, we assume you're using RetroPie and usually we request some info from the RetroPie facilities (e.g.: runcommand.log). So, if don't use RetroPie at all, maybe it's better to report cheevos issues in this RetroAchievements thread: http://retroachievements.org/viewtopic.php?t=3020

                FYI, I've loaded Hudson's Adventure Island (NES) on my Android/RetroArch/FCEUmm and Achievements List loaded just fine.

                  I also gave it a go and the achievements loaded up for me as well.

                    @mediamogul sorry for being a kind of stalker, but are you using another account? :-)

                      No, I'm still Pseudoscience, although I'm guilty of not frequenting the website to maintain my account. I used to delete all the bugged out achievements it would sometimes shower me with when starting a game that's not properly supported, but it ended up being too much work. Have you sent me a message or something?

                        No. I just didn't see Adventure Island on your last played games. :-)

                          Looks like you're right. I'll reload it a little later to see if it's a persistent issue. It could be related to something on their end, but I've consistently had trouble in syncing with the website due to my spotty wifi. My house is almost like a Faraday cage from room to room.

                              It's a very old house and it's possible there's some lead paint, but I've been assuming it was due to an over-abundance of brick everywhere. It's also a big house, so I have to stick with 2.4ghz because it handles walls and distance better.

                              Everything was working well after placing a few relay stations here and there, but then I got the Pi3 and it's antennae seems to be so much weaker than your average dongle that I'm back to square one. I've been meaning to learn how to blacklist the internal WiFi to use something more powerful, but it's been pretty low on my priorities since everything else is working well.

                                I loaded up 'Adventure Island' a bit earlier and it's listing itself fine now. I still don't know if there's an issue with the title or something on my end, but everything seems to be in working order.
