Working on a big ol build right now with (nearly) complete rom sets (retropie v4.2). Since some consoles have upwards of 1,000 games I though I would use kiosk mode to mark favorites for those occasions where I don't need to see everything. I installed it and managed to mark down favorites for a couple systems.

Working on the build has been slow going because I am removing adult games, making sure all artwork is complete and consistent, and ensuring that all the metadata I can get is in there, including video snaps (I'm currently using the CRT theme).

Somewhere along in this process of picking through details, I noticed I no longer had the ability to favorite games, or set them to hidden (CRT theme doesn't seem to respect the HIDDEN tag, but no matter). I know it's an experimental package so I wasn't to surprised that it flaked out. However, it looks like I cannot simply go into the experimental packages and perform a reinstall.

Has anyone else experienced this problem? I am looking for a way to possibly roll back my corrupted child friendly branch and do a re-install. Thanks for taking the time to read this. I appreciate any advice anyone may have.
