      Hi there,

when you start a rom, retropie shows a yellow message in the bottom left corner of the screen for the config of the controler.
      e.g. time 1:40

I want to use this OSD message to show my config while Im in the emulationstation.
The problem is that I dont really know how to access this. I'm running a python script to change some config files depending on user input and I want to show a quick message as feedback.

Any tips how to do this?

      Thanks!

@Jeddo it's a RetroArch thing and, unfortunately, there's no way to show an arbitrary message there.

@meleu I dont want to change this message to one of mine. I just want to show a on screen message and I saw this yellow message an thought this would do nicely since it is already implemented. But any other easy way to show a on screen message would do also
