@Ecks You could. But honestly I don't think drilling holes for nuts and bolts might be useful... I just hotglued mine months ago and it doesn't move at all.

With that said, I would advocate in using a NPN transistor with your fan to regulate its speed like suggested here : https://hackernoon.com/how-to-control-a-fan-to-cool-the-cpu-of-your-raspberrypi-3313b6e7f92c . And if you're interested there are a couple of code out there to regulate it ; the python code in this very tutorial (a simple switch on / off), some dynamic solutions which didn't work with my fans because it caused way too much vibrations ( https://gist.github.com/Enchufa2/4bde3bab84eebedcc88e )
, and also my solution which is kinda of a mix of the two previous ones ( https://github.com/Aryetis/PiPwmIncrementalFanController ) .

Oh i wasn't going to drill holes for the nuts and bolts i was going to drill it for the air to flow inside because this is what i own alt text which looks almost the same as yours and because where i have it located right now it never moves.
Also when i get the chance to build my bartop arcade i plan on installing a bigger fan on the side of the arcade just so it would always be cool inside.

@Ecks might as well not use the top part of the case then if you're gonna put it into a bartop with a fan.
