Mame & usb sound

afternoon all hope you all enjoying this lovely weather outside.
well why you're enjoying this weather i am inside going mad trying to get mame roms and sound working through usb lol..
all emulators work fine but mame just won't load but they are fine soon as i run video and sound through hdmi..
Now i have searched google and here for a fix but they all end up with the post just ending with no fix.
please guys help me iv built lovely mini Arcade but cant play mame games on it :(
