I have a 2 player usb mame arcade kit with two joysticks. The 2 joystick connect to 1 usb chip that conects to my raspberry pi 3 through 1 usb cable. The problem is that the pi only recongnises it like one controller and when i try to play a game with 2 players the first joystick controlls both players and i cant get it to read it as two seperate controllers. Does somebody know how to make the raspberry read my arcade kit as two deparate controllers to be able to play as 2 players?

@s1naloa10 you will need to determine the make of that USB controller. What exactly is it? Once you know what it is, you can search this forum for that name. Chances are, the questi9n has been asked before and an answer is already written.
