Is there any way to use total conversion/overhaul mods/hacks for n64 games in retropie?
-
Hi everyone I am fairly new here and just recently built my own retro games console using a Raspberry Pi 3, Mini NES Case, and using the latest Retropie(which by the way is an amazing piece of software that makes everything super easy for the end user so I have donated to support the devs great work). I was able to set everything up by reading the tutorial/following instructions and have my setup configured perfectly the way I want it. I tried searching for this before posting but found no answer. I have recently discovered that there are a few total conversion mods for WWF No mercy that replace the wrestlers/arenas/outfits with different ones and I would like to know if it is possible to use these in retropie some how as the mods /total conversions that I am referring to were made/designed for Project 64 and I am wondering if there is any way to make these work on any of the n64 emulators that are included in retropie with enough tinkering? Or if anyone has managed to successfully get these types of things to work on retropie. They involve using cheat files/hacks/textures. I have included a link below as an example of one of the overhauls that I am trying to make work in retropie. Anyone have any advice/tips or suggestions? or is this simply not possible without using Project 64?
