Can't control inside emulator
-
I'm making a new project, and the first device I had connected to my system is a USB keyboard. I went through all of setting this guy up with that, and then later added the controller I will ultimately be using. The problem I'm having now, is whenever I go to play a game, I can't use that controller. It seems to be defaulting to the input from the (now nonexistant) keyboard. I can't exit the game, or access the RetroArch menu, or anything. I know in the past that I can go into RetroArch and tell it which controller I want to use for Player 1, etc. But without a keyboard attached, I can't access it to change it. If, however, I re-attache the keyboard, all of a sudden I can access RetroArch, but the ability to use just the controller stops working the moment I disconnect the controller.
I'm not sure, but it feels like RetroArch is trying to associate the keyboard as the default controller, and then NOTHING if it can't find it. When the keyboard is connected, I can change to the other controller, and it works for that game. Then I play something else, and once again it needs the keyboard connected. It does this even though I have told RetroArch to save an override for this system/core. It even displayes "Core settings Override" or something to that effect when a game is launched. But still nothing works.
Is there a way to REMOVE the keyboard associated with this project without having to completely start over without the keyboard installed? I feel like if I just take that out of the equation, it might solve the problem. If not, does anybody have any other suggestions?

I think I fixed it.. I removed the remap config, and started a new retroarch.cfg. seems to be working.
