Attract Mode Romlist - change titles of games without manually typing them in

I have an Advance Mame romlist which is pretty long. Both the name of the Rom and and the Title are the same - extract is below.

Rather than manually retyping each one (and there are more than a thousand) eg change "aburner" to "Afterburner", I was hoping to change the "titles" by some less laborious method.

Does anyone know of a way to do this please or will I have to change them by hand?

do you have the MAME gamelist.xml already for your EmulationStation?
if so mack a back up and you could try this out, unfortunately I've not had the time to do so, yet

@InsecureSpike Thanks for that info. I've had a look through my folders but I've no longer got the gamelist.xml unfortunately, only the Attract Mode romlist.

It's a pity there is no converter from Attract Mode to gamelist.xml. If there were, I could use that and then I could use the converter you've pointed to to achieve what I want.

can't you enter ES then scrape to make a new gamelist.xml?
