I am unable to install some of the ES Themes. I typically use Eudora-Concise, but now when I try to install it via Retro Pie Configuration > ES Themes > Install Eudora-Concise, it just goes back to the Retro Pie Configuration menu. This happens for several different themes, while some of them install as expected. Is there a log for ES Theme errors? Does anyone know why this might be happening?

      More info:
      Retro Pie 4.2.10
      Raspberry Pi 3 B+
      Emulation Station V2.4.1RP

      Thanks

Here's my Emulation Station log, though it doesn't seem very helpful: https://pastebin.com/3xWX85uC

I found this to be true as well. I figure the server hosting that theme is down (try later), the author has taken them down for the moment, or as you indicate something is wrong.

Some that do not load are available for manual install via github.com

@muehltime How much of an ordeal is it to install them manually? I looked for docs a few days ago and couldn't find anything really.

I have not installed a theme manually myself. So, I wouldn't do anything based on my advice.

            Themes are stored here... /etc/emulationstation/themes/
I assume part of the install would be dropping them in the theme folder (with all sub folders and files) in there. But I don't know if other files have to be altered.

@muehltime It was much easier than I expected. I just copied the contents of this zip to the themes folder and it works great. No other file changes necessary. Thanks for the response.

when I go into themes and try to install them, it starts to install, and then nothing happens.
dumb question, but do I need to be connected to the internet while trying to install them?
