    How do i update to 4.2?

      I have a Question how do i update to 4.2? Because i did update OS kernal and update retropie setup script but thats just the script thats updates to 4.2 i thought the whole retropie would update too? Maybe in wrong but how do i update retropie it self without losing all my stuff?

          Yes ive read that but doesnt that just update the script not the os it self?

            @retrofreak89 After you update RetroPie-Setup script do a Basic Install.

            Insert coin to continue… Keeping retro alive since 1985.

              Once you've updated the script, select Update Installed Packages, this will update everything to the latest version.

              In fact, if you select Update Installed Packages, I think it asks if you want to update the script and underlying kernel packages as part of the task.

                @simonster the script is always updated when selecting update all installed packages.
