      Hi,

I noticed a few days ago you committed some changes to add in a gamelist.xml and some nice images (which look great btw) to the RetroPie configuration menu, as per this link:
      https://github.com/RetroPie/RetroPie-Setup/commit/0de788de594f91e003ab5711f0b6201e97828b10

One of the comments at the top mentions "removed dispmanx configuration as most users don't need to use it" - however, I can still see the Dispmanx option in the list, it is the only one without an image and i'm guessing I shouldn't be seeing it any more. Everything else looks great.

Any ideas on how I can clear it off? It's not a big deal but i'm just curious.

To summarise to get the changes I updated the retropie-setup script, and then ran the RetroPie configuration menu for EmulationStation to add in the updates. Anything else I should be installing?

I have checked the files and they all seem to match up, there is no dispmanx entry in the gamelist.xml, so i'm guessing it must be pulling it from elsewhere.

      Any ideas?

      Thanks!

yeh - it needs removing, but it isn't currently added on new installs. you can just remove the dispmanx.rp entry from ~/RetroPie/retropiemenu/

the retropiemenu module has been updated to actually remove it now.

          Hi,

Perfect, thanks. Just before I read your reply I had stumbled upon it myself - I suddenly realised the script copies the gamelist.xml and images elsewhere (so I was looking in the wrong place), should have known that really.

I see you have updated the script already to remove though, cheers!
