Now that my elbow is fully healed I can get back to my tf2 obsession and continue to play this slowly dying game.

@afunnyname ... Team fortress 2? On what platform?

Donkey Kong Country for SNES . Got the N64 emulator up with a few games (Ocarina of Time Master Quest, Bango Kazooie, and Doom 64) but it runs very slow and glitchy. I think I have to overclock my Pie3 . I'm very very new at this. All of a sudden and SNES games I transfer over don't even start up. It loads to a black screen. Nothing else. The games show up and can be selected. Then just blackness. Anyone want to offer help plz text me 848-448-6148

I play it on a laptop. I'm too cheap for a p.c. Sorry if were only supposed to post about retropie related stuff, I've seen people post about other things and thought it was O.K. I apologize if I was mistaken.

@afunnyname no, no, please, totally acceptable. I was just curious what TF2 was, as that was the only acronym that I could think of, and curious if there was some port of it that ran on the Pi.
I always heard great things about it!

Probably going to play Mother 3 with the fan translation this weekend. Loved Earthbound when I was a kid and have already replayed it. Was sad when they never released Mother 3 outside of Japan but I recently discovered the fan translation.

Nintendo has a cool tent here in town and I got to try out a Switch for the first time. It's a nice piece of hardware, even if it's smaller than I expected. I hope the game library grows.
I also got to try the new 2DS XL, and sadly, it just felt cheap. Games ran fine, just like a new 3DS, just not 3D. It's lighter and the plastic just feels, crappier? If you're looking to get one just to save money I'd suggest getting a used 3DS on eBay or find one on sale.

@villanova08 try starting the emulator with verbose logging enabled. You can turn that on in the run command menu if you press a button while the game is loading.
