      Hi I have a raspberry Pi 3.

I can't use a downloaded ES Themes. Everytime I download it and try to select it, I have a white screen as a themes. I don't have this problem with the basics themes.

      What can I do?

      My Retropie version is 4.2.16

@buccs13 what theme are you trying to run and what version of emulationstation are you running? The ES version is at the bottom of the menu when you press start.

The only one that is working that is not an original ES theme is Comic_book

@buccs13 I've seen some people have 80 and that seems to fix their theme issue.

You need to update EmulationStation. Both are taking advantage of some newer features that have been added to ES since the last RetroPie image was made.

You can update by launching RetroPie-Setup and then choosing
Manage Packages -> Manage core packages -> emulationstation

You should be fine to do the binary update.

Get latest build of EmulationStation for Windows here
