New ES update with the custom collections has a bug for me or maybe I don't what what I am doing. Anyway when I add favorites and if I restart ES or reboot the system it deletes all my favorites.

I don't know if it is just me or a bug. I am running MotionBlue V5 and only change I made was delete the favorites menu david added to mb so it doesn't double in the carousel. anyway any help would be great thanks

@greekmanx I don't think there is much help we could provide. The MotionBlue is a separate non-standard image. There are so many changes in that image that aren't in the default retropie build.

@hurricanefan I didn't know it would make that much of a difference I guess shows what I know didn't think david changed enough that would break that but then again it could just be me.

@greekmanx One quick thing you could check in EmulationStation settings.

            Click Start Button
            Go to "Other Settings"
Check to see if "Save Metadata on exit" is on.

If its off, that could explain why your favorites disappear on reboot.
