Hi, I'm very new to this and my knowledge is extremely limited. I bought a retropie system recently and while very pleased with the gaming side I'm certainly struggling getting the kodi side of things working. My mistake I suspect is trying to put a 3rd party build on it which quite possibly has bogged the whole thing down. I did this as I have a fire tv box with the same build which works fine but upon reading info online seemingly builds aren't recommended on a pi system.
The download wasn't successful as the build doesn't work yet all the addons and such are on the normal kodi menus but don't work. I'd really like to start fresh amd just add what I need but I've no idea how to delete it all amd start again -

i'm afraid we don't support pre-loaded systems, or kodi at all, really. if you install kodi via the retropie-setup menu that should work, but it it depends on how your system was setup.

@acevr6: As @dankcushions mentioned, we don't support any 3rd-party set-ups as we have no idea how they are set up, so if you are wanting to start fresh, I suppose your best bet will be to format your SD card (or get a new one if you don't want to delete what you already have) and follow the Documentation. It's all pretty straight forward and if you get stuck anywhere there are people here that can help you.
Contributions to the project are always appreciated, so if you would like to support us with a donation you can do so here.
