      Am I the only one that absolutely loves the look of Carbon-No Meta theme and wishes it had updated support in line with the default Carbon? I’ve really wanted to use it for a long time because I love the centered larger videos and lack of distracting meta data, but it’s fallen really behind in updates. It’s lacking the great video support and now custom collections support that all of the communities great developers have been working on. I don’t want to come across as someone complaining because that’s totally not what my non contributing self is doing lol. I just want to let whoever is in charge of the theme or knowledgeable enough to add updates know that your theme is loved and needs some in return! I hate to see such a great theme forgotten about and left behind.

        Nobody is in charge of it any more than anyone else is. I originally did it for myself cause I don't care for metadata and just released it at the same time we released carbon. I've not followed the recent ES updates as much and haven't had as much free time as I used to but the code is available online and if someone submits a pull request to update it I'm happy to merge.

          Is a pull request something I can do? If I could figure out how to make that happen then I’d do it for sure. I’ve never messed around with anything involving changes to retropie though and I’m not sure what that involves doing.

            @cjax08 you can stiil use no meta data in carbon theme, just modified some lines at carbon.xml first make or backup a copy of the file:
            <text name="md_lbl_rating, md_lbl_releasedate, md_lbl_developer, md_lbl_publisher, md_lbl_genre, md_lbl_players, md_lbl_lastplayed, md_lbl_playcount, md_rating, md_developer, md_publisher, md_genre, md_players, md_playcount, md_releasedate, md_lastplayed">
            <pos>1 1</pos>
            </text>

            and delete

            <view name="basic, detailed">

            	<text name="md_lbl_rating, md_lbl_releasedate, md_lbl_developer, md_lbl_publisher, md_lbl_genre, md_lbl_players, md_lbl_lastplayed, md_lbl_playcount">
            		<color>969696</color>
            		<forceUppercase>1</forceUppercase>
            		<fontPath>./art/Cabin-Bold.ttf</fontPath>
            		<fontSize>0.023</fontSize>
            		<size>0.12 0.04</size>
            	</text>

            	<text name="md_rating, md_developer, md_publisher, md_genre, md_players, md_playcount">
            		<color>969696</color>
            		<forceUppercase>1</forceUppercase>
            		<fontPath>./art/Cabin-Bold.ttf</fontPath>
            		<fontSize>0.023</fontSize>
            		<size>0.14 0.04</size>
            	</text>

              @cjax08 I submitted an update for carbon-nometa last night that brings it pretty much in line with carbon. You should be able to update it using RetroPie-Setup.

                @jdrassa oh awesome! So your saying it should already be updated now? Or you submitted a request for an update?
