My pi won't boot up and sd card get very hot.

I pluged my pi today and it wouldn't boot up and the sd card got very hot i am wondering if I got a bad sd card or a bad board?

@deltax5 I'm pretty sure your SD card is bad. And a simple Google search found this answer.

Have tried to see if you can read anything on the SD card on a PC?

My pc detects it but won't open cuz it's formated for Linux.

I bought the kit from canakit. First one the card got caruped, they sent me a new card now this one gets hot and won't boot anything. Now this sd card got hot. IDK haven't used the pi for a long time when i booted it up it didn't boot up retro pi.

it was fine before. I haven't used it in 2 months or so.

I emailed them. They told me it may got bent. Looked at it the card got bent, don't even know how it got bent. Sigh. Ohh well i gotta get a new card now sigh.
