      Hey everybody,

I'm working with one of the guys on Nestopia on the XBox side of things. There are some translations that have been patched that don't work as-is in Nestopia. This requires that we make some changes to NstDatabase.xml. So far the additions to that file have worked like a charm.

Unfortunately, the same can't be said for Nestopia on the RetroPie, which I thought was going to be a simple replacement of the database.

I've already copied the emulator from /opt/retropie/libretrocores/lr-nestopia/ and then pasted it to /home/pi/RetroPie/Emulators/lr-nestopia/ and pointed the /opt/retropie/configs/nes/emulators.cfg file to the new emulator location.

I was then able to put the new database in that folder, where before all of these steps I didn't have permissions to.

Doing a check on /dev/shm/runcommand.log, nestopia is now loading from my new spot for it and other games that weren't a problem before now load from this new location.

However, the game I tried to "fix" with the updated database info still just kicks you back to the romlist as it did before.

      I'm wondering 2 things:

      1. If there are individual game configs I can delete somewhere and try again?

      2. Is there a static command somewhere in Nestopia that is pointing to the specific location of /opt/retropie/libretrocores/lr-nestopia/NstDatabase.xml?

If number 2 is true, how can I get around the permissions so I can edit that specific file?

      THANKS!!!!!
