.sh file to put the user in another folder of the carousel?

I have created my own folder in the Retropie Carousel, would it be possible to have a .sh file in there that if clicked, would send the user into another folder within the carousel? Or even, just to kick the user out of that folder and looking at that folder on the carousel again?
