I just got an odd problem 😐
The masterplan today was to get "Myst Masterpiece Edition" running under ScummVM.
Well, to say that: it works! But to get it working i updated ScummVM and for doing that i also updated the Retropie Setup Script (was on 4.2.8).
After rebooting i realized that my Splashvideo was not supported anymore, so i decided to update my whole system by "update all packages" to 4.3.1.So far so good, everything was fine, Splashvideo run again and it seemed that everything went fine.
BUT....now i have a great issue with the emulationstation-menue within emulationstation 😔
I can open it and even navigate through the items, but as soon as i want to confirm a new setting or even press Button B to get back -> the system crashes to terminal.
And it even does not recognize inputs from the keyboard - i have to pull the plug.My first thought was to change the theme because AFAIR Carbon no Meta was not updated to support the actual changes within Emulationstation.
So i installed "Simple Pi".
I was able to change the theme after rebooting, but of course emulationstation crashed again after trying to apply the new setting. So i deleted "Carbon no Meta" completely by entering retropie-setup again and rebooted.
Simple Pi was loaded fine, but did not solve the problem.
As soon as i want to apply changes or even just want to leave the emulationstation--menue without doing nothing the system crashes to terminal 👿.I will post the error-message tomorrow (im not at home right now) but has anyone an idea or similar experiences?
thx and nice weekend!!!
