Splashscreen option not available in latest RetroPie-Setup script!

Pretty much as the title suggests: The docs here are either out of date or wrong. I'm new to the RetroPie project and so I am currently relying on the documentation. Check out 4.3.2 of the script and have a look at https://github.com/retropie/RetroPie-Setup/wiki/splashscreen and you will see the inconsistency. The splash screen option does not show up in either of the two places listed in the documentation. Can anyone shed some light on this please?

Please do not post a support request without first reading and following the advice in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-firstDid you install manually ? Splashscreen has to be installed before it shows up (from main packages).

Yes this is a manual install. I have spent the whole day looking at all the packages and options. It's not there. I'm doing "P > main > search through there and nothing about splashscreen?" -
@cl04ker It's there but you need to provide information as I linked and as agreed when registering - I have no idea even what system/os you are installing on.
eg. if you are not on a RPI, then there is no splashscreen - it's RPI specific.

I'm not on an RPI. I am on an HP SFF type of machine with a Core 2 Duo CPU etc...
