      Hi,

Where do you recommend people get SNES ROMs from? I found some but they were .exe and don't show up when I open retropie. Should they have a different file extension? Thanks for the help.

I'm still figuring out how RetroPi works. Sorry if this seems like a stupid question. Thanks to anyone willing to help me!

@swk Here's the extensions. Hint, they're not exe's. I wouldn't ever trust an .exe for roms..

You also can't ask where to get roms. Not allowed in here.

No one on this forum will point you anywhere but google when asking about ROMs. It's against the forum rules to provide links to ROMs, or instructions on where to find them.

A simple "[system] ROMs" (example "SNES ROMs") search on Google should find you everything you need.

SNES ROMs will have either a SMC or a SFC file extension (usually contained within a ZIP archive).

NEVER try to run a ROM that downloads as an EXE, delete it ASAP. probably a virus.

Also, like what Joel from Vinesauce says, never download stuff like "video.avi.exe" (or anything like it for that matter).

                Don't sweat it.
When in doubt, take a BYTE out of life.

                😎
