Switch Style Icons

In an attempt to tame my ocd, I made Switch Style icons for scraped games in ES. Scrolling through a list, seeing all kinds of different sized boxes hurts my eyes. Plus, most scraper sources are very low quality, so this is a source for some HQ art. Some examples:

@lilbud I really like the idea. In fact i just started to make my own because it's so much easier to create those images then actual boxart (for Romhacks). I'm just using some images from google, put the marquee on it and sometimes add some effect. Done.

@ectoone Yeah, thats kinda how I make most of these. Just makes them look nicer in ES.

Where do you think would be a good place to host these? Github?

@lilbud I'm not sure if I even want to share the ones I've made, because of copyright and stuff. I don't think that every image I used so far is free to use for something like this and I'm to lazy to write down every source to give proper credits.

@ectoone I don't think you can get copyright claimed on something you release for free.

If that was the case, almost every single splashscreen & theme would cease to exist.

@lilbud But I'm not the one who created it in the first place. That's like i would put a sticker on a stolen car and say: Is my work, have it for free.
Whatever the case is, the fact that i don't know the rights is enough for me to not release it.

Edit: I'm also a little bit confused by something i noticed in the last few days. I'm unable to find some boxart for romhacks that i had found a year ago. Kinda seems they were taken of thegamesdb and somehow that's scaring me.

@lilbud I will take a look. Yet the point is that I've heard that Nintendo is recently very active to take downs downloads and i've noticed that some sites have removed some files because of that. And now I get the impression that it has extended to image sites.

@ectoone Well Nintendo gets very copyright happy. Taking down Roms is understandable, but images make little to no sense. Maybe some sites are scared of take downs so they are just taking stuff down before anything happens.

@lilbud I agree, and still that's why I won't take the risk. I'm too old to get myself in trouble just because i shared some images that contain assets that are not mine.
