    Nestopia not loading roms

      Built From: on top of existing OS
      Error messages received: This core requires a content file. Found in /dev/shm/runcommand.log when launching the game with verbose logging enabled.

      I am having a problem loading any roms into Nestopia. The error I get is that this core requires a content file. I will post /opt/retropie/configs/nes/emulators.cfg if needed but I have already verified it is correct by searching the forums for this issue and came across some advice on that.

      Any help would be greatly appreciated.

        Are you sure the ROM is correct ? The message suggests that is unable to load the file.
        Can you try another core - lr-fceumm maybe - to check if the ROM is fine ?

          I have this same problem with every ROM I try. Maybe its the pack I found. I will try another core now.

          Does the missing header line below indicate my issue with the roms?

          Edit: I have now fixed the BIOS Error. Just need to find roms with headers that match up with my dats.

                Thanks to all for the advice. I have used the no intro rom set and slimmed it down to English language only games using Romulus and a dat file from dat-o-matic.
