Prboom-Plus To Retropie Possible??

Afternoon people!!
Ive read few posts on the Raspberry pi/rasbian forum and there were couple people in there who said that prboom+ is in the official distro for raspbian and can be easily downloaded..
Well on Retropie all we get is the old version just regular prboom no plus...
Got met wondering tho isnt Retropie raspbian as well?
If so then prboom plus would be possible
Has anyone done this yet or know how to or is it sctrictly just for the rasbian desktop OSI much prefer a up to date port then a 10 years old port ya know but i havent found anything about it yet with Retropie only Rasbian kinda weird

@retrofreak89 Here are installation instructions. Choose Debian, Ubuntu and derivatives. http://prboom.sourceforge.net/linux.html

@retrofreak89 RetroPie IS Raspbian (Debian derivative).
You can install it then launch it from within RetroPie very easily with a short script. -
@jonnykesh i Just looked at the site that looks like the regular prboom from 8 years ago not the new prboom PLUS or AM i mistaken?
Im looking for the + version of prboom -
I'm going to take a run at making a script for it tonight.
