@hexxur i know there is away to get retroarch installed on it. and i know that it have a doom port built in.
how it works with WADS i dont know

Zandronum scriptmodule has now been updated with support for registered versions of Doom, Doom 2, TNT and Plutonia wads.

Just copy the 4 wad files to the doom roms folder in "/home/pi/RetroPie/roms/ports" before installing Zandronum.
This will give you 4 new runcommand files to launch the games from.

@Solid-One So it has to be changed to specific use that commit when trying to compile Zandronum and the solution to the Raspbian Stretch might just work. Let me give it a try and see what i can come up with.

I use only one source port, Zandronum. I have heard of GZDoom, Odamex, Eternity, Chocolate Doom, Zdaemon and other various ZDoom projects. Is there an "ultimate" port to use, or are all of them distinctly the same with some minor differences, other than just using different ports to play multiplayer once in a while?

I use zdoom for all doom stuff. There is a wad that has a list that lets you choose which master levels wad you want to load. You just have to have all the wads in the same folder. Might work for lr-prboom too. Not sure.

Omg thanks bro it worked!!! I removed pwad and now sunlust booted in prboom plus!!! Finally but is there a way So u dont have to do it through cmd Each time?
Cause thats kind of anoyying but ill do if i have too heh after 2 days of messing with files :/ sigh happy now

But is there a way i dont have to use the command line everytime? And do you know how i can stretch the image? Thats pretty Much all i need to know and ill be set you seem like you know alot so thats cool and thanks for helped so far :)

@8bitkid you cant use the doom shareware wad that comes with the emulators. You need to overwrite it with your ultimate doom wad

@brigane i found prboom plus only thing is i have no clue how to load wads with prboom plus can anyone plz help me with that?

Also difference is prboom is An old engine like 10 years old ..prboom plus is new still being updates and also runs the smoother with uncapped framerate as well

I'm facing weird issue I installed prboom plus it says its installed when I try to installed it again but its no where to be found when I start doom and change emulator its not there...

But thanks I will try this but anyway do u know why I can't find my peboom plus lol its weird

BTW I jut tried that I copied paste it into terminal it didn't work :(

@retrofreak89 someone did list getting gzdoom working. Not sure how good it was. I heard chocolate doom is on the pi too but i know nothing about it.

I see no menu options for Doom cheats or any way to access the console. It seems that the keyboard is disabled with the controller mapping. Google brings me here first, so old thread or not, someone should post a solution, no?

I got it to work i copy paste it this time and now it worked now lets hope i can do it with other mods as well lol
