Sound comes on sometimes during spashscreen videos

When sound is disabled for video snapshots, sometimes the sound will turn on for a couple of seconds and then off again (when using video screensavers). Was not present in 4.2.10 but is as of 4.3.3. This consistently happens on the same videos and I believe those videos run for less than 30 seconds. When I decrease the length between switching videos from 30 seconds to 20 the sound is consistently off (all my video snaps are 20 seconds long or greater). Also, sliding has been made extremely quick for transitions in emulationstation menus.
