No config found for <insert system here>

Hello all, I recently had certain emulators work just fine. After installing some themes, transferring files etc, I have run into a problem on certain emulators.
I get this message and then it goes back to the selection screen.
' no config found for (system name) '
any help would be much appreciated.

sounds like you have removed / lost some /opt/retropie/configs/SYSTEMNAME/emulators.cfg

is there any way to get them back without having to create configs for each system?

I figured it out, i accidently clicked install binaries and it seemed like it was reinstalling retropie, everything is ok now, nothing dissapeared, so no need to transfer everything back again.
