      Hi guys, I'd like to work on my ES setup remotely while at work. Is it possible to view the ES GUI through a remote connection?

        The only remote connnection - assuming you're using a RPI - is through SSH, but since ES doesn't work over X11, there isn't a way to 'visualize' the terminal where ES runs.

        What exactly do you mean by 'work on my ES setup' ? Adding or scraping ROMs, creating a theme, etc. ?

          @mitu thanks for the reply. I just wanted to view the GUI remotely to preview themes/artwork etc.

            And you can install emulationstation on a PC too but at that point I'd just use the pi for
