LR-VICE clicking sound

Hi,
I have been experimenting with LR-VICE and Vice-X64.
LR-VICE works perfect except for a clicking sound on most games, I thought it was my sound settings but Vice-X64 does not have any clicking sounds.
All of my other emulators have no sound issues, I have also edited my config.txt to remove white noise etc but that has made no difference
Has anyone else experienced this?
