cant exit out of kids or kiosk mode with code

hi guys , anyone having problem with exiting out of kids or kiosk mode in ES with using the code. i have pi 3 running the latest updates. i can if i change in the es setting cfg. thanks

@juice what type of controller do you have ? There is a similar problem typing the Konami code for exiting kid mode when using a Xbox 360 controller, reported in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/12602/kids-kiosk-mode-coming-back-testers-needed/61?page=4, it seems solved, but I don't know if the fix is yet in the official branch.
It should get fixed in a future update for Emulationstation. -
problem solved ,i was using a 360 pad and that was the problem, plugged in innext controller and worked 1st time . thanks for your help
