      Hi there!

I have been experimenting with MalditaCastilla for Raspberry Pi, available here for free:
      https://www.yoyogames.com/pi

The game runs fine on any Raspberry if you set gpu_mem=128 in config.txt, and it's an AWESOME Ghouls'n Goblins clone based on spanish mithology.

The only problem is the input: I can only use a keyboard with it, and I know for sure the game supports a joystick.
From other sources I came to the conclussion that using xboxdrv with it was the way to go, so I built it and configured it. Xboxdrv is now listening to the inputs of my USB gamepad, and I can see the events being passed to the "emulated" XBOX360 gamepad in xboxdrv.

However, Maldita Castilla keeps ignoring these inputs! Any idea on what does this game expect? It's driving me crazy....

I've been trying a lot and I've had zero luck :(

@hiulit Would an arcade joystick with an open source encoder like this one https://gp2040-ce.info/ be the potential solution to that issue considering this hardware/firmware combination has the capability to "mimic" a keyboard?
