Leaderboards problem w/ retropie
-
Hi! first of all I want to thank all developer of retropie, I'm using retropie from more than year and what I can say is that is awesome!
with Retroarch 1.6.8 I saw in the wiki that retroachievements Leaderboards are supported, but even if I added "cheevos_leaderboards_enable = true" in my retroarch.cfg located in /opt/retropie/configs/all/retroarch.cfg it doesn't work.
I have problem only on leaderboard, in fact Retroachievements work well.
could you please help me?
I have already upgraded retropie to the last version 4.3.7 -
@Vinz Did you follow this tutorial: https://github.com/RetroPie/RetroPie-Setup/wiki/RetroAchievements
or this one: https://retropie.org.uk/docs/RetroAchievements/ -
@Vinz and your WIFI and Ethernet are fine?
-
Hi @retroprogrammer, I followed this: https://github.com/RetroPie/RetroPie-Setup/wiki/RetroAchievements and my WIFI works. I don't use Ethernet..
-
yep, and you setup a account on retro achievements site: http://retroachievements.org/
-
Yes I created an account and added my credential in retroarch.cfg. In fact the retroachievements work...for example I tried different games and retroachievements work but Leaderboards don't.
-
you should add the line
cheevos_verbose_enable = true
in/opt/retropie/configs/all/retroarch.cfg
to see if you successfully logged in and how many achievements you have unlocked -
Have you played for long enough to get on a leader board?
-
Yes, I have already added this line and give me the output I have already logged
-
@retroprogrammer Yes for different games (i.e. mario kart 64, space invaders (gb))
-
did you play games for long after you setup retro achievements
-
and are the games you play supported my retro achievements
-
@retroprogrammer about a total of four hours in three days. For example I made a time of about 1 minute and 53 seconds on the "Leaderboard: Luigi Raceway (Mario Kart 64)" but I don't see my name, whereas all the other retroachievements of this game work
-
@Vinz Maybe try a Ethernet cable?
-
@retroprogrammer I could try, even if the router is very far from my retropie system
-
Yes see what happens :)
-
@retroprogrammer I hope it works, even if it will be a temporary solution because I prefer WIFI :)
thank you so much, I will give you a feedback when I try your solution! -
@retroprogrammer Tried the ethernet but unfortunately the same result. Only retroachievements work, leaderboards don't
-
I am not sure any more
-
@retroprogrammer thanks anyway for your precious and fast support. I hope to solve this problem because it would be so cool use that functionality. do you use retroachievements, and if yes leaderboards work to you?
