hiding roms in emulation station doesn't work
-
hi guys,
when I browse the roms of a system, let's say: the neo-geo ones, and press <select>, there is an option to edit the games metadata.
doing this and scrolling down the options, there is a "HIDDEN" which can be set to on (or off).
but it has no effect !
when I try to hide the neo-geo.zip (the BIOS file in the neogeo roms folder), the entry still is beeing displayed (yes, even after restarting ES or rebooting the whole device).any ideas or fixes ?
cheers,

@jeffjordan I think the Hidden part is only active when switching to Kiosk mode in Emulationstation, it's not a general setting - https://github.com/RetroPie/EmulationStation/pull/252

You can temporarily fix this by pressing select > Filter Gamelist > HIDDEN > FALSE

@mitu & MileSacul: thanks for your replies !
@MileSacul : configuring the gamelist filter did the trick !cheers,

@jeffjordan Another nice trick with the neogeo.zip is this: If you are using lr-fbalpha to play these games, you can stick the neogeo.zip file in the BIOS directory instead of a ROMs folder. FBA will check there for the neogeo and use it. That way, it is out of the games list regardless of filters/metadata.
