Hi, my wireless 360 controller works fine on retropie 4.3 and syncs when playing. Only trouble is when i shut down my pi then lights continue to blink (all 4) which is annoying as i have to unplug the battery pack every time to stop it flashing. Any ideas please?

(I tried both the xpad and xbox360driver and it's the official controller and usb adapter)

      Cheers.

@piroo last I checked thats how it works? Once it realises the receiver is gone it blinks til it finds something to reconnect to or it times out and turns off (or the user turns them off instead)

Hi herb, it doesn't time out (left it blinking all day as an addition to the xmas lights ;O))..the lights continue to blink ad nauseum...until i use the pi again that is!

I have one connected to PC and it doesn't blink when the PC's turned off, or sleeping.

@piroo yeah idk, I never turn off my pi so my controllers turn off after not being used for 10 min or so. Otherwise short of leaving your pi on or manually turning them off, there may be a way through the xpad driver to run a script on shutdown to send a signal to the controllers to turn off but I'm not familiar enough with the driver to know if that's a function or if there is some custom code wizardry you'd have to do.
