      Hello,

      i have a pi2scart + CRT setup and in some games of the 8bit generation i have a bar on the left side of the screen (super mario 3 for example). Is there any way to fix this specifically for those games?

      Also another problem i have: Is there any ES-theme that can fix borders i have on the left and right side of the screen in Emulation-Station menu? I cant change overscan values because i changed them for my games to fit the screen

      thank you

        I found a solution for the first issue at least. You can create a "ROM-name.cfg" file for each game that has the described issue and add + adjust the following settings:

        video_scale_integer = "false"
        custom_viewport_x = "9" (or whatever you need)
        custom_viewport_y = "7" (or whatever you need)

        Put the file in the same folder as the ROM and it will override the global settings from your Retroarch.cfg file only for the game you named the file after.

        Now i just need a solution for the ugly bars in ES menu...

          @yuke in nes if you are using lr-fceumm, go into retroarch gui and go into quick menu then options. Enable overscan. In my opinion its a better option as games like castlevania cuts of parts of the score and stuff if you have the overscan disabled. Or you can try and see how lr-nestopia looks.
