      @zx81 you dont use tab. You use the retroarch gui. Press your hotkey which should be select + x.

        @edmaul69 Hi, for some reason I just can't change it, it must be hardcoded. Because the a keyboard encoder is essentially a real keyboard it is reading the inputs a real key presses rather than joystick directions. As the "up" key is bound as RUN/STOP it makes it impossible to use the joystick unless I change the IPAC settings, but this then means I have to reconfig the controls for all the other emulators on my system.

        They may be a way around it by changing the keymap file for the C64, I may mess around with this and see how I get on. In the meantime I have done a short guide for ZX81 if he wants to try using the standalone version of Vice.

          @tuki_cat - Hi! So sorry, I have only just seen your post. I'm still struggling with LR-Vice. I keep refreshing it in the hope that one day it might work. I would very much like to see your guide to setting up the normal Vice. I may have better luck with that!

          Do you have a link please?
